self portrait: happily dislocated
Self Portrait: Happily Dislocated is an absurdist and surrealist response to the tradition of making self portraits. The series of 30 portraits intend to show an indifference surrounding the notion of identity and question whether a sense of identity is important.
The work also attempts to explore the connection between material things, referring to cycles, transience and the ephemeral.
